Palepedia:About

Palepedia is a free online encyclopedia of all things Palestine.

Palepedia was established in 2023 as a Palestinian initiative to collect, categorize, cross-link, index, and preserve all things to do with Palestine, including its people, history, culture, geography, and perhaps most importantly of all, occupation.

Anyone is welcome to contribute to Palepedia content that fits under the scope of its broad mission. We accept both new articles and major or minor updates to existing text. Nothing is too small or too big to share!

Both for integrity and to avoid controversy, we ask that contributions to Palepedia be coupled with verifiable sources. The more controversial the topic, the more important having numerous quality sources becomes. Please respect copyright when contributing to Palepedia and do not copy text, documents, or media that are not freely shared, under public domain, or subject to fair use.
