Haaretz
Haaretz (הארץ) is an Israeli daily newspaper with a significant presence in the media landscape. While it has only the third-largest circulation in Israel,[1] it is the largest with an English publication and is widely read internationally. It is considered to be a liberal or left-wing publication by Israeli standards, while it would probably be considered to espouse a progressive/liberal Zionist perspective.
Haaretz is known for its diverse coverage of political, social, and cultural issues in Israel. While some Palestinians appreciate Haaretz for its critical stance on government policies and commitment to free expression, others may view it with skepticism due to its unapologetic embrace of Zionism. The newspaper has a history of publishing articles that highlight various perspectives on the Israeli Occupation, and importantly is one of the few to regularly publish stories covering mistreatment or abuse of Palestinians both in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and within Israel.
