BAE Systems

From Palepedia

BAE Systems is a UK company, the world's seventh-largest weapons manufacturer, and important military supplier to Israel.

Israeli military use[edit | edit source]

BAE is the manufacturer of the M109 Howitzer, a 155mm mobile artillery system heavily used by the IDF in its wars in Gaza, most recently in 2023 during which Israel has made heavy use of the 155mm shells, firing tens of thousands into the densely civilian Gaza Strip.[1]

Israel also uses BAE howitzers to shell civilian populations in Gaza and Lebanon with white phosphorus bombs.[2][3]

BAE also manufactures electronic missile launching kits and other components for Israel’s F-15, F-16, and F-35 fighter jets,[4] which the Israeli Air Force has used extensively in all of its attacks on Gaza, including in 2023.
